creditcarddebt
Nonbelievers,Christians chose to celebrate the birth of Jesus.~What are you all celebrating on December 25th? ?

gimmee-mas?
walmart-mas?
creditcarddebt-mas?
fruitcake-mas?
I REALLY don’t know….. Why bother if you do NOT know that God is the one we celebrate?

Also ,on THANKSgiving what do YOU thank?
The turkey?
…the TUMS and Rolaids?

With only a tiny exception of the ones that asked if I knew what fun was…
These ARE the purest HUMAN answers I have EVER seen on Yahoo~
I gave thumbs up all around due to THIS oddity~
I am grateful indeed~
I am the "fun" one in husband family~ The different generations of "kids" count on it. They also seek counsel from me..okay...they LISTEN when I offffffer counsel .
Blessings one and all.
May we all stand in agreement to celebrate OUR LOVED ONES everyday~
one thumbs down for the sad and lonely woman that SPEAKS to strongly to be a happy person.
As I am a Christian, you can not stop me from saying a prayer for your PAIN to leave... for YOUR sake and the family that you hurt by your insultive nature.

I am thankful I am not a greedy idiot trampling others to get the best Christmas sale! I am most thankful just to get the extra time off work and sit back and relax as everyone gets all stressed out trying to get into the “Christmas spirit” lol!

When you stop taking part in such pointless, material junk, you really get a great appreciation of the torture people bring on themselves during the holidays! It’s kind of sad actually! I just laugh as I see people running around with their heads cut off…and why? To celebrate the birth of Jesus? If I were Jesus I would be pissed seeing the way people act around the holidays!

I don’t celebrate Christmas. I don’t believe in it, so why should I? I save lots of money around the holidays. I am not stressed about “Christmas shopping” for everyone because I don’t buy gifts! I don’t have the burden of storing holiday crap year round, bulbs, lights etc! I also get the extra time off to get things done. I go see my family. I just see it as a time to give thanks for the people I love and all the wonderful things in my life.

Not believing in god does not mean us Atheists don’t believe in giving thanks! The difference is, I give thanks all year instead of just around the holidays. When I do something nice for others it’s because I want to, not because it’s “in season” or because ‘god’ will somehow reward me.

Actually since becoming an Athiest, I feel so wonderful and FREE during the holidays, instead of stressed like I used to be. Not celebrating crap I don’t believe in was probably one of the best things I ever did for myself.

So what do I give thanks for around the holidays? The fact that I can chill out and watch everyone else go insane over the birth of some fictional dude who supposedly died and came back to life…A guy who everyone seems to think wants trees chopped down and people’s wallets empty for his birthday! LOL! What a bunch of crap! Merry F%##$ Christmas everyone, have fun!
